🎁 Share the Joy – Donate to the Holiday Hamper Program!
This holiday season, you can make a real difference in the lives of local families who are struggling to make ends meet. The Holiday Hamper Program helps bring the spirit of the season to every home by providing gifts, to families who might otherwise go without.
Your donation helps fill hampers with toys that spark joy, —reminding families that their community cares.
Here are recommended donations, which are for anyone between the ages of infancy and 18yrs!
Toys for any age, board games and puzzles, Lego, Playdoh, sports equipment, arts & crafts supplies, small tech items (ie. Speaker, Headphones, etc.), hygiene & self-care products, gloves, mitts, and grocery gift cards or monetary donations .
We will also happily accept Gift Cards as many caregivers love the opportunity to shop for their own family.
Together, we can make sure everyone has something to celebrate.

The holidays should be a time of warmth, joy, and togetherness—but for many families, this season can be a difficult one. Our Holiday Hamper Program is here to help make the holidays a little brighter for community members in need.
Each hamper is lovingly prepared with gifts to bring comfort and cheer to your home. Whether you’re facing financial challenges or just need a bit of extra support this year, we want you to know that your community cares.
🕊️ Who can apply:
Families who have attended programs through BGC Kawarthas from Jan 2025 to December 2025, who could use some help this holiday season.
📦 What you’ll receive:
A holiday hamper filled gifts to help you celebrate the season with dignity and joy.
💌 How to register:

Registration opens November 3rd at 9am and closes Nov 21st @6pm. Only those who will be receiving a hamper will receive a confirmation email.
Please be aware that family names will be cross referenced with other local hamper programs to ensure we can provide to as many families as possible.
