This holiday season, we are collecting new toys, gifts and gift cards to support those who don’t have much.
Our Holiday Hamper program’s goal is to take the edge off for families who struggle to buy presents for their children. We supply donations, and then offer them in big hampers. Whether you wish to donate a gift you had in mind, or you wish to be the recipient of one of these hampers, thank you for visiting this website page! We’ve got you covered!
Here are recommended donations, which are for anyone between the ages of infancy and 18!
Toys for any age, board games and puzzles, Lego, Playdoh, sports equipment, arts & crafts supplies, small tech items (ie. Speaker, Headphones, etc.), hygiene & self-care products, gloves, mitts, and grocery giftcards.
We will also happily accept Gift Cards as many caregivers love the opportunity to shop for their own family.
If you have a donation ready, you can reach out to Maddie Tucker at mtucker@bgckawarthas.com or 705-324-4493 ext. 213. There will be a donation drop-off period between the week of December 2nd-6th, 2024, but Maddie will likely be able to accommodate you for alternate drop-off times.
If you would like to be a recipient of one of these holiday hampers to provide for your family, you can apply for a referral by Friday, November 22nd, 2024. To apply for a referral, either scan the QR code below this paragraph or go to https://forms.office.com/r/h0P7PvLvnJ
Please be aware that the family name will be shared with other Kawartha Lakes hamper providers, and we will notify you at our earliest convenience if you have been approved for a hamper. If you are approved, visit our Lindsay building on either Wednesday, December 18th or Thursday, December 19th during business hours for pick-up.
