Join our Foundation Board of Directors!
Our BGC Kawarthas Foundation is seeking dynamic and visionary leaders to join its Board of Directors. As a member of the Board, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction of our organization, driving innovation, and making a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and strategic guidance to the organization’s growth and mission;
- Establish overall long and short-term goals, objectives and priorities for the Foundation in meeting the financial needs of BGC Kawarthas (the Club);
- Advocate for donations, funding and other supports that will assist the Foundation and/or Club in the fulfillment of their mission/mandate;
- Make a financial contribution to the Foundation, and dedicate the necessary time to Director meetings and committees;
- Ensure governance, compliance, and ethical standards are upheld;
- Foster relationships and build partnerships to enhance organizational success;
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Knowledge and skills in one or more areas of Board Governance or Fundraising;
- A strong understanding of financial oversight and investment planning;
- Knowledge of one of our primary growth areas – Fenelon Falls or Peterborough;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A passion for making a difference and contributing to meaningful change.
