Message to our families about the solar eclipse
On April 8, 2024, Kawartha Lakes & Peterborough will experience a solar eclipse. The eclipse will take place from approximately 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm that day. In preparation for that afternoon, we want to inform families we will be keeping children inside and our curtains and blinds will be closed. For everyone’s safety please strive to schedule your child’s pick-up either before 2:00 pm or after 4:30 pm. Please reach out to your program/Centre supervisor if you have any questions or concerns.
