Canadian pride and identity have never been stronger than they are today. Canadians across the country are taking action to buy and support Canadian products and to protect what makes us unique. For many, Canadian culture is one of the things that sets us apart – our songs and stories express what’s distinct about living in this country.
Tapping into our love for Canada, we’ll bring the community together to celebrate Canadian music and Indigenous people’s connection to this land. It will be a positive night for celebrating music, and we are creating a great line up of Canadian musicians and Canadian music! The lineup includes: The Strumbellas, Tyler Kyte and Nick Rose (members of Dwayne Gretzky), Russell deCarle of Prairie Oyster, Melissa Payne, Cassie Noble, and a few BGC youth performers, with more to be announced. The concert’s host is Erica Ehm, former Much Music VJ.
The concert will be in support of BGC Kawarthas Music and Arts Programs.
