Music Makers – Production

A 10-week beginner program centred around recording, editing, and mixing music. Participants will learn the foundational elements of beat-making, vocal editing and using loops.

WHERE: The Warehouse Youth Centre at BGC Kawarthas

WHO: This Program is for students in the Kawartha Lakes ages 12-18 (Grades 7-12)  

COST: $150.00 (Financial Assistance available) 

Virtual Production

A 10-week program centred around production and beat making.

Participants will spend one hour each week on a one-on-one Zoom call getting instruction tailored to their experience level and specific interests. Due to the nature of this program’s funding, this program will take place virtually, via Zoom. Participants will learn the ins-and-outs of recording software, how to make beats, score video, and how to share these songs effectively online. 

STARTING: Enroll anytime!

WHERE: Virtual, via Zoom meetings. 

WHEN: You choose a weekly one-hour slot with our Music Supervisor, Warren Frank. 

WHO: This program is intended for students in the Kawartha Lakes ages 14 – 24.

COST: $75.00 (Financial Assistance available)
