Thank you to the City of Kawartha Lakes for providing BGC Kawarthas with an operating grant from the 2024 operating budget to expand on the drop in program at The Warehouse Youth Centre.

Creative Mondays
Get creative and explore your artistic side! Join us on Mondays from 3:30 – 4:30pm each week, youth in grades 6–12 can make a new craft or project using different materials and techniques. Drop in, have fun, and see what you can create — no experience needed!
Board Game Club
Come join us every Tuesday from 3:30-4:30pm for some fun and friendly competition at Board Game Club! Each week, youth can drop in to learn and play a new board game or card game — from fast-paced party games to strategy favorites. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the table, it’s a great way to meet new friends, sharpen your skills, and enjoy an hour of relaxed, screen-free fun! No sign up required, just show up and try out some new games!
S.M.A.R.T Goals
Join us on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm for S.M.A.R.T. Goals, a fitness and lifestyle program designed to help youth set and achieve goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely. Each week, participants will explore healthy habits, motivation techniques, and personal growth strategies while working toward their own fitness and wellness objectives. Build confidence, stay active, and learn how to turn your goals into real results!
Try it Out Thursday
Discover your new favorite sport at Try It Out Thursday! Each Thursday from 3:30-4:30pm, youth will have the chance to learn about and try a different sport in a fun, supportive environment. From basketball to flag football, soccer to volleyball, there’s always something new to explore. No experience needed — just bring your energy, curiosity, and willingness to give it a try!

How do you register ?
Youth do not need to register in advance, they are able to drop-in and participate.
NEW Youth must complete a Youth Registration Form with a staff member upon their first night, prior to entering The Warehouse Youth Centre.
